CIPS qualifications provide best practice education programmes for the procurement and supply profession.

Each qualifications is a vocationally related qualification, accredited by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulator

(Ofqual) in the UK and appears on the Register of Regulated Qualifications.

The CIPS Qualification is composed by 5 levels of competencies, each structured on 5 compulsory units that deal with different topics in procurement and supply.

Obtaining CIPS Qualification implies enrollment as a CIPS Student, studying via e-learning, self study (individually) or guided learning (with trainers), and pass all 5 examinations of the units that compose each level.

Through the two study centres linked to Integrate Investment – Universitatea Nationala de Aparare “Carol I” CIPS Study Centre and Integrate Investment CIPS Study Centre, we offer Guided Learning, as well as Self Study, for the full qualifications portfolio – from the CIPS Level 2 Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations to the CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply.

The Guided Learning Courses can be organised open or in-house.

  • Choosing to attend Guided Learning classes means studying with experienced CIPS tutors who can enhance your learning exprience, helping you to study faster and gaining deeper knowledge. In addidion having study collegues means sharing experiences, knowledge and networking. Noreover integrate Investment will entirely managing the relationship with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply for the students (communicating results, booking examinations, etc.)
  • Students may choose to study individually, by taking care of the enrollment, books purchasing and enrolling to the examination, and to attend examinations within Universitatea Nationala de Aparare “Carol I” CIPS Examination Centre. This option gives students the flexibility to manage their own learning and study units at their own pace.
  • The e-learning option is available directly through the CIPS.org website, and can be accessed anywhere with an internet connection, giving students support in obtaining CIPS Qualifications. This is, therefore, better suited to people who are unable to physically attend the guided learning sessions, due to location issues.

Level 2 – Certificate in procurement and supply operations –  consists of five compulsory units:

  • Procurement and supply stakeholders

Level 3 – Advanced certificate in procurement and supply operations consists in five compulsory units:

  • Procurement and supply environments
  • Procurement and supply operations
  • Procurement and supply workflow
  • Inventory and logistics operations
  • Procurement and supply relationships

Level 4 – Diploma in procurement and supply – requires the completion of five compulsory units:

  • Context of procurement and supply
  • Business needs in procurement and supply
  • Sourcing in procurement and supply
  • Negotiating and contracting in procurement and supply
  • Managing contracts and relationships in procurement and supply

Level 5 – Advanced diploma in procurement and supply – consists of three compulsory units:

  • Management in procurement and supply
  • Managing risks in supply chains
  • Improving the competitiveness of supply chains

Additionally you must choose two optional units from a choice of three:

  •  Category management in procurement and supply
  •  Sustainability in supply chains
  •  Operations management in supply chains

Level 6Professional diploma in procurement and supply - consists of three compulsory units:

  • Leadership in procurement and supply
  • Corporate and business strategy
  • Strategic supply chain management

 Additionally you must choose two optional units from a choice of three:

  • Supply chain diligence
  • Programme and project management
  • Legal aspects in procurement and supply (UK)
